I have some strange looking Bromeliads myself..but mine bloom in January..lol

Mine bloom whenever they darn well feel like it. Have some blooming now - some bloom in the fall. I like the bloom on this one.

I've never seen anything like that. It doesn't look like a real plant.You should certainly keep it and enjoy what you have.

Carrie, that bloom looks just like the ones you gave me last year. Exactly and it bloomed a month or so ago

I have one blooming now that is pink, but I haven't checked it lately (too busy moving plants IN and OUT ----AGAIN). I will do so today - hope it is this one.

AKA Queens tears. Common, easy to grow, not the least picky about where or what you grow it in. Mine bloom a couple of times a year.
