crepe myrtles are not blooming

I have 3 fairly mature (I think) crepe myrtles in my front yard that have not bloomed yet. I see others in the neighborhood blooming like crazy. They are in an area that gets a lot of sun and I understand they like that so I am not sure why they aren't blooming. I am a total newbie so any help would be very welcome.
