Hi everyone and thank you all so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes. Sorry that it has taken me so long to post. I run a daycare during the day and my daughter has moved back in with her 4 month old, whom I watch in the evenings while she works. This is a very busy time of year for me, since I sell my crafts in all the local craft fairs that are going on this time of year. Okay, so maybe I don't want a birthday this year,since this is going to be the big 50. Oh no, did I say that? Okay, I really need to thank Sue ,who sent me a large b-day box several months ago. She sent a brug,and several other plants. Sorry, I can't remember the names of right now, but I love them all. Also candy lily seeds, hyacinth bulbs,aromatherapy green house, candy and potpourri. Thanks Sue for the wonderful box and for doing a wonderful job with this birthday robin. Joyce

I received a wonderful box of gifts yesterday from Doris. She sent a sunflower therometer,notepad,healing garden gingerlily therapy set, vanilla candle[my favorite],and a cute little bag of miniature gardening tools, which I will surely use. I have been wanting some of them for quite a while. And I just love the card. It had a picture of a China Dragon daylily. Much more beautiful than anything that could be bought in a store. I received a box full of goodies today from Beth. There was some coffee and a deck of cards from Alaska. I love to play cards. A pretty hanging basket,a candle in a jar, a chocolate orange and a large bag of M&M's. The candle smells wonderful, and you know I already tore into that bag of M&M's. The kids had just got home from school and there was no hiding that bag. I also received a box of plants from Doris a few months ago. In it was Swedish ivy,angelwing begonia,yellow canna and Hawaiian white ginger. Thank you so much Doris. I love all the gifts and the plants, especially the Swedish ivy and the Hawaiian white ginger. I am so sorry for being late getting your package mailed. Since my accident on Monday life has gotten crazy with med. appointments, insurance people. Well this is interesting for this time of year. The accident involved none other than a Rudolph in trainning....I was traveling on a country road with deep ditches and the deer was down in it and I didn't see it until it flow on my windshield! Wow hello!! I am thankful I didn't get hurt worse than I did. My neck got snapped and I have had much pain from it. The ER didn't as much as take a x-ray! I will see a specialist on Wed. So until then lots of rest and ice. The insurance company has my car in the body shop and should be ready mid week. The windsheild never broke so that is a big plus. After the accident the song Run Run Rudolph came on the radio! Gosh it just really made me thankful for all that I have and also a reminder for me life can change in a moments time and I try to give hugs and love yous on a reg. basis because we really never know when a change will come. I can say I am a live and it could of been worse. In that same area two weeks prior a man hit a deer it came through the windshield and hit him and killed him. After I got out of the car the deer was alive and charged me. The cop said you made him mad while gosh he made me mad too!!! Thanks again for the healing thoughts!! And to Joyce I will get your package out as soon as possible!

Wow, I received another wonderful birthday box today from Poochella. There was a pretty gardening themed picture frame, flowered agenda book,dragonfly notepad, a set of vanilla cream candles[ my favorite], hand lotion[ I really need this], a bar of perfumed bath soap[ I love that smell], a cute hanging butterfly ornament,birthday mints,several packs of flower seed, and a very funny birthday card. Thanks you so much for such a great box of gifts. I have the candles lit right now and they smell wonderful. And I love the card. It was so funny. I guess I should be thankful that I am not a dog. Yesterday I received another box stuffed full of gifts from Tammy. A wonderful gingerbread candle,gardening gloves,coffee mug,can of tea,hot chocolate,stocking full of candy canes,cinnammon-apple soap,bag of potpourri,cedar blocks,2 bags of bulbs,6 pkgs of flower seed,lucky bamboo, a birthday card and a huge Gardening Book. There was so much I don't know what to use first. Maybe I will take a bath with the soap, light the gingerbread candle, fix a mug of the hot choc or tea and start looking thru the gardening book. The soap and candle smell good enough to eat. And the lucky bamboo,I really had been wanting some of that. Tammy, you really outdid yourself. Thank you so,so much. I love everything. Hi Tina, No, I never did receive the package. It is probably sitting in some post office somewhere. I sent 2 boxes of gifts to my Mom and sisters on the 2nd of December and they finally got it on the 17th. I guess I should be glad they received both of them. Joyce

Hi Jan, I received the birthday box today. Jan sent me a holiday trio sachet that smelled so good. A photo album,you can never get to many of them ,especially when you have grandchildren. A mimi scrapbook kit,a butterfly welcome plaque,apron,calendar,plant hanger,and the cutest litle porcelain doll. My granddaughter just loved her,so I let her pick the perfect place on a little shelf where some of my houseplants sit. She looks right at home there. And also thank you for the pretty card and kind words. Thanks for everything Jan, it all was really worth waiting for. Joyce
