You are right. We have not been seeing posts from Rachel. We can check her photo page and see if she is actively posting there now. She was in Thailand last I knew. I'll check around.~~A

She dropped out for awhile before if you recall, then came back with a flurry of posts; I imagine this is a similar situation. She's been doing the Twitter thing, I expect with a search of this site one could find her Twitter info.

If I were in Thailand I doubt I'd spend a lot of time in front of a computer-lots of new birds to explore.

I do recall that Orrin. I just checked her Picasa page, and the last photos there are dated 1/29/11. Hmmmmm... I think I will just e-mail her to check and make sure.

Ok, I did e-mail her privately, and she did respond. She is OK. She has been very ill with food poisoning and hasn't been to work where she can use her computer to access the forums. She asked me to post this message to you from her:

Yes, the quick real-time posts to Twitter's Twitpic have me spoiled and I keep telling myself I'll move the photos to the Picasa Web Album, but since this is Thailand and I'm always out birding or at work, it's easy to postpone, then forget. Also, the internet here at the hotel is weak and sporadic at best; i.e., I just posted a response to you here and it didn't go through.
I'll check my album and try some updating today since I've been home, sick, since last Wed., with food poisoning. Up to this point, the internet hasn't been working, and I've been in too poor shape to do it anyway, but able to get around some now."

Me too konrad. She is also having some sort of technical problem with accessing the GW forums. She said she keeps getting an error message that says "Method GET Not Implemented."

Thanks everyone for asking about me. I have actually been in a bad way with food poisoning and a couple of times wondered if I would make it. Angie did some research and said Firefox may be the problem, so I'm going to try Internet Explorer and see if this works. If so, I don't know why Firefox would suddenly not work

Rachel..........I haven't been here in a long time. Did you move to Thailand permanently? Please have your illness checked out. It may be a bacteria that just keeps growing.
