Like any other variety they can be picked anytime after they begin to blush - show color on the blossom end - and left to finish ripening inside. From that point on it is when they begin to have some give when gently squeezed.

I picked my first Pink Berkeley Tie Dye and it was obvious when it started to blush - before, it was green with green stripes, then some of the green stripes turned - well, a rosy brown maybe. But after I picked it, it was a bit puzzling as to when it was ready to eat. I finally just cut it up when it started to get a little less firm - and it was great.

Will any of my two varieties, mentioned above, produce yellow or purple tomatoes. Or are they all going to be green striped pinkish brown?
