Wondering who made this nest?

I posted this on the other forum but then found this page -- so I am widening my search for answer. Thank you

Could be Wren. Since you are in Richmond, VA, my first guess would be Carolina Wren. But there are quite a few birds that make nests like that including House Sparrows.

A feeling of being dressed in an adult gown is one of the reasons strapless evening

dresses are so popular. The strapless bodice works well as the topping of en elegant,

ethereal ball gown, or the sexy and sassy playful adventurer wearing one of the newest

trends, the mini discount prom dresses. We carry a much wider selection of this year's

hottest trends in fetching prom gowns, than the local boutique can have in stock.

Possibly an Ovenbird as that is where their name comes from-the nest is supposed to resemble an old time oven. But Carolina wrens do the same & are much more common so FHFchrish is probably right. Hope an expert comes on & tells us or the original poster sees the bird & let's us know.

The location is wrong for an ovenbird, which are ground nesters.

Sorry, I didn't read the posts from the other forum. My bad!
