Is this a moccasin?

We're widening a nature trail in our community and I've come across 3 snakes that I'm concerned about. There is a swamp on one side of the trail and a drainage ditch beside a golf course on the other. I'll try to send a picture of each of the snakes. This one is about 4 - 41/2' long and is very fat! I should also say that we are south of Tampa, FL.

That is a Florida Cottonmouth (or if you prefer the colloquial name - "Moccasin"),
They are venomous, but not in any way aggressive.

Definitely a water moccasin. There is this weird myth in the South that they are agressive snakes. The ones I have come across have been almost lethargic and indifferent to me.

The florida Moccasins must be different from those I've come across here in Arkansas. I've been chased several times by them, I guess it depends on the snake.
