Found some eggs

A friend of mine just found some eggs and I've got them narrowed down to reptile eggs. They're pale pink and oblong shaped and about the size of a jelly bean. I live in the South-western part of Arkansas along the border with Oklahoma. I love all animals and I'm hoping they're snakes because of the possibility of getting to keep them. If anyone has any ideas as to the species, it would be amazing.... also, if I'm correct poisonous snakes are live-bearing... right?

They sound like lizard eggs rather than snake eggs, depending on how big a jelly bean is to you. But there is no way of knowing what they are until they hatch, if they do.

In north america, the Coralsnake is the only venomous species to lay eggs.
