help to identify 3 antique dressers with mirrors

Lets hope I manage to link the photo's right.

I was wanting to know anything about these 3 antique dressers with mirrors. I intend to sell them, they need more restoration than I am capable of doing, and I have to much furniture already. So it would be great to get an idea of the value, but I would also love to know the approx. year, maker and anything else I can find out.

I think there are 20 pictures, althou there are only 3 actual antiques. I turned the best ones right side up so you don't have to tilt your head.

The only one that has the mark is the tall one with 5 drawers it has on the back of it B.H. 3151 1/2

The short one with the large square mirror had a weak hinge on the mirror arm so I took the mirror off it so it would not fall and break. That's why it looks a little odd in the picture the mirror is sitting on top of it leaning against the wall.

thank you, chris

All 3 are from the 1910 era or later.....s are oak "Golden oak" and the other has some sort of a book veneer, I can't tell what.
They are not "special" but good servicable vintage dressers. I would have bought all 3 in a heartbeat when by kids were graduating out of baby furniture.
I would put a selling price of $150 on each one....perhaps a little more on the tall chest.
It will cost you lots more to buy something like that cleaned up and waiting in a shop....but you will have to sell them "wholesale". Unless you want to open a shop.

The serpentine-fronted ones are birdseye maple, the low square one is burl walnut veneer.

I check my local (Chicago metro) Craig's List and also my hometown area (northern fringes of Appalachians), as well as local auction houses. Serpentine front w/wishbone mirror frames like yours, in good shape, generally have an asking price of $200-$300. Don't know what they eventually sell for. (Ebay would be a good place to check, current and completed auctions.) Visible damage (as in the smaller one on the top?) probably more like $125-$150.

You're not in any of those areas I mentioned, are you? (I'm in the market for the two oak styles). My Gram had them, my mom got them and gave them to an Aunt, now mom's kicking herself. ;-)

I don't see any birds eye maple...perhaps quatersawn oak....but no bird's eye....unless your monitor is better than mine!

The first is definitly a veneer -- What kind of wood?
The second is probably a veneer Maybe a solid top. it is made of made of Quartersawn oak veneer and maybe solid parts
The third (highboy)IS FOR SURE birdseye maple I would bet my home on it! My sister-in- law has the almost twin to this piece. Most probably a veneer as well -- just can't tell without a closer look -- especially of the edges of the piece.
I guess some of us have better monitors and display cards-- on the PC's

Images in rows 2,3 and 4 are for sure birdseye maple...some is veneer, and I have their twins sitting in my guest room! I love them for their neat simplicity.

Ok...I took another look, and agree the highboy is birdseye, with a peeeling veneer top.
I never looked at the close up, just assumed it was oak like the smaller dresser.

    Wow
Talk about some great info you all rock.
I will try to answer the few questions I saw, if I miss anyone just reply.

I am in Texas not chicago area.

I do think the short square one is walnut , someone else say it and thought it was earlier in the year.

The short square one appears to be mostly solid with veneer on both sides, but not on the top or the draw faces.

The shorter of the two serpentine fronted ones has veneer on the drawer fronts but appears to have a solid top.

The taller of the two sperpentine fronted ones has veneer on drawer fronts and on the top.

I'm not sure about where I will sell them, probably craigslist or ebay. If anyone is intrested let me know. I will post them soon for $250.00 for each of the birdseye serpentine fronted ones and $175.00 for the short square one. I know thats on the high end of the sugjested price range, but I don't have to sell them so it's not a biggie.
Thank you all so very much for your time and great info.
    Chris
