We're about to purchase a Vent-A-Hood "Euroline Pro" (EPH18-242) hood with the "real copper" overlay to vent a 36" Blue Star rangetop (can't wait!).

With the overlay, we need to specify an interior color/texture (paint), or pay several hundred dollars more for the stainless steel interior...

I'm looking for feedback from those of you who have a VAH with any of the "standard powder-coat smooth finishes" on the interior. How does the paint hold up? How do you clean it? Do you wish you had just got the stainless?

Although it's offered, I can't see choosing a "textured powder-coat" painted interior since it would seem much harder to clean.
