Nice find, Mojavean, but a day late and a dollar short!(well actually $104 short)
Handle was getting loose on my speed oven, and starting to make it difficult to open. I downloaded the parts manual for it from Elux. It had an "explosion shot" shot of the door, and sure nuff I could see in the diagram the two "Offending screws". Problem was they were under a cover on the front inside of the door. I wasn't sure how to remove that cover, alto the drawing showed no fastening hardware for it. I tried "Fixya" That was "worthless".
I thought about calling Elux and asking them. But I decided "Discrestion is the better part of valor" So I called a local service company. I was a lttle worried , at first, as the Gal on the fone there, didnt know what a speed oven was --Oh Oh-- Anyway, She talked to one of her Techs, He knew what it was, they came the next day and fixed it , straightaway! That Cover justs pops off (well ya gotta know where to pry). Anyway good as new now, and I guess I shouldn't complain (Too Much)-- just $104 spent in well over 3 years now for all my kitchen appliances, cept for that piece of junk cooktop I had to toss shorty after a year.
