Toto Washlet vs Kohler C3/200

Can anyone do a side by side comparison? We are considering the Kohler C3-200 with the dual flush mode, wanted to know if anyone can compare it to the Toto toilet with the washlet (looking at the Drake model). They both will clean the important areas - can't wait for that - we like the dual flush mode of the Kohler. They offer a 1.4G flush for heavier loads and a 1.0G flush for the lighter loads. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Kohler toilet. Toto seems to set the standard and they share in all the major functions except the dual flush. Since we have well and septic the option of flushing less water is appealing. Any comments?

My Washlet S300 doesn't have variable fan speeds or a light :( I feel cheated! (lol) Actually, I was just thinking today that I wish the dryer had a higher speed option. A lighted bowl. How cool is that...as long as it was clean! :)

The Toto Aquia is a dual flush Toto toilet. You can always do a Neorest 500 series. They use 0.9 and 1.6 gals of water if I remember correctly. The S400 washlet also includes the flushing mechanism for the toilet. It also raises and toilet seat for the man of house and stops the arguing:-) Toto for marital bliss is my recommendation:-)

I have an S300 and as part of my remodel, I think I have resigned myself to the fact that I will be getting a Neorest! The S300 and the Carlyle that it sits on will be relegated to the hallway bathroom!

I think the Neorest might be a little far out of the budget. It was hard enough to convince my husband to consider the bidet seat in the first place. Luckily we don't have the seat up/down argument. When he leaves it up I don't argue. I want to go to a Toto showroom and at least se it, saw the Kohler yesterday. Will report back.

Yes, I've BOTH dual flush & a Washlet installed! The toilet is a TOTO Aquia and the Washlet is TOTO Apricot (the Japaneses version of S400).

Cheap, clean and green :)
