Sorry, actually it gets full sun in the late afternoon/evenings. Right until the sun goes down over the mountains.

I have artificial plants in my porch planter. I get full sun in the daytime but they don't seem to fade. I get them at Walmart for about 97¢ a stalk/bunch. I usually get the bunchs and cut the stems from the main bunch then arrange in the foam stuff. I can remove each foam block with the flowers intact and store for next year or just remove and repalce with new flowers or plants. I change out my porch about every other month and seasonal. Here is my 4th of July porch the plants on the ground are real.

I dont know of a product that will keep the fake flowers from fadeing, but I like minie use the fake flowers in pots for color, I like useing mums for fall, some look so real, and you can set them anywhere without worrie, just change out for the seasons, and most will last a few years! can be cheaper them the real flowers that just die, and you know they will look good, I have even revamped some with spray paint, used fake vines in window boxs lots of ideas!

Same here. I get a couple of seasons out my silk ones outside. I did find that if I occasionally use the spray Silk Plant cleaner, it perks up color too.

With our horrid summer heat and lasting so many months, I have to use silk flowers for color and peace of mind.

TRY CHEAP HAIRSPRAY LIKE AQUA NET IN PURPLE CAN. I HAVE USED IT ON THE SILK FLOWERS FROM THE DOLLAR TREE... WORKED PRETTY GOOD. THE DOLLAR TREE HAS SOME GORGEOUS SILKS ...I BOUGHT SOME THERE THAT LOOK AS GOOD AS ONES I HAVE BOUGHT AT MICHEALS CRAFT STORE. THOUGH I DONT KNOW IF YOU HAVE A DOLLAR TREE IN YOUR AREA. BUT I HEAR MOST DOLLAR STORES GET THERE STUFF FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURERS.
