Are your dogs allowed on the couch/bed?
Comments (227)Our German Shepherd seemed to have made that decision when he was quite young. He absolutely WILL NOT get on our bed. He acts as if it's a pit of snakes! As for the couch...sometimes he'll come over and climb up on the couch and put his head on my lap. It's so unexpected because he just doesn't do that, so I let him lay there a bit while I pet him and talk to him...he seems to really need the closeness at that moment, so why not give it to him!...See MoreNeed Guideance for Design Center and New Home
Comments (38)rod, the next home with be less cluttered and the TV will be on the wall. (No wires and not over a fireplace :) It is bright, that's for sure. I bought it when we were moving to the rental property we are in now since it was dark and had tile floors. It's been 2 years and I think I like it. I used to be afraid of color and all our homes were super neutral creams, whites and pales colors. It's a BIG step for me to venture into colorful!...See MorePOLL: Are pets allowed on your furniture?
Comments (644)My dog is welcome on the bed, but knows to wait for me to spread the 'dogsheet' over it before jumping up... It keeps the bedding clean and hair-free. Now, the brand new cream colored couch is another matter... Not sure how she knows she's not allowed on the couch- we've never had a discussion about that- but she knows!...See MoreThrow Pillows for Sofa Needed
Comments (198)Salvanv: The Brand is Loloi style Xavier Aqua color and I found it on Gilt.com but you can also find it on many sites: https://www.contemporaryfurniturewarehouse.com/products/loloi-xv-02-taupe-aqua?variant=19471596996&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Shopping%3A%20PRODUCT%20TYPE&utm_term=4579191052285782&utm_content=All%20Products%3A%20PRODUCT%20TYPE Ted, you were in Denver when we were there!! Th-Sun. I was watching weather girl Lisa Hidalgo right before we left and she was saying it was a good day to wear Wellingtons so I literally changed my shoes and only brought a pair of heels and running shoes and then the weather warmed up and it was bone dry out there and I had a huge pair of rain boots on. So then... we had to go down to John Fluevog and bought 5 pairs of shoes. Do you know his shoes? Such works of art. We have lived in CO for 30 years (still own a home in Golden). Too crowed now but fun to visit but the snowcapped mountains in Golden were so beautiful that we changed our minds and are not going to sell our house even though we don't really use it and aren't going back this summer. Something is clearly wrong with us. We have been gone so I haven't been to La-z-Boy yet but will try and go this week since it's going to break 100 degrees and I'll be looking for indoor activities. Home suggested Lazy Boy Mid Town low profile recliner and good advice on who is going to sit in it and guess what, it's going to be me since Bob has been laying on MY, MY, MY chaise! I'll get over the seam but will still call my salesperson. Having Fun I didn't try the reef fish because I didn't see that on any of the menus but sure tried everything else. Ted, we just loved riding cruiser bikes all around Key West and the hotel was just fabulous (Southernmost Point Hotel-the pink one with the gorgeous pool). Alaska is on our list but it hasn't moved up lately and we haven't seen the Redwoods which is ridiculous since we are in Vegas. Glad you had a great time on your trip. We were with good friends over the weekend who we like doing European cycling trips with so we may go back to Greece in Sept but do Crete and Santorini which we haven't seen (non cycling) and then considering cycling through Vietnam then a side trip to Thailand in December. Our friends said for me to plan it and they will go (love people like this). I have to really start planning this soon due to the fact we have 2 dogs now and the dog sitter gets booked up. We do beach trips in Jan and are going to add Key West on to whatever we do and then doing a month at our MT house which will be the first time we spend more than a few days there in the winter). I need an assistant....See Moreivamae
