My walls are not done, but a huge part of my bath is the high tub deck (up about 34") which would give you the same idea.

I have the tile in the shower layed on a diagnal on the floor and ceiling of the shower, then the main floor is diagnal and the walls of the shower and walls of the tub deck are set in a stacked pattern.

Looking closely at your pix I have one more Q: how thick is your grout? It looks that the thickness is different on wall and the floor. By grout thickness I mean spacing between the tiles.

I am using 3/8" marble (Crema marfil 12/12) and would like to have them as close as possible.

I missed this question so hopefully I'm not too late. They're all 1/8" thick grout line. The tile on the floor is just a tiny bit off of the color of the tile on the walls (because the granite place went out of business and I had to find different tile) so the floor shows the grout lines a little bit more than the wall tile does (it's a perfect blend there). The spacers were the same though on both :)

My counters in that bath are crema marfil...I just love the stuff :)

In person you can't tell that the two tiles are from differnt quaries, but when I take pictures I can see one is just a tiny bit lighter than the other (the flash accentuates it) which is what makes the grout stand out that tiny bit.

I love the Crema Marfil as well. I really wanted Crema Marfil slabs in the shower but this was a guest/hall bath and I wanted to leave some really good features for my master bath :-)

During this time I went to a stone slab yard and looked at the slab Crema Marfil. What can I say? I was mesmerized...
