I am so disappointed that nobody owns a KA steam assist oven. Nobody, nobody, really. Please there must be someone out there who owns one or knows someone who owns one. What about the Miele steam oven? Any takers? Thanks so much. I know someone is going to say something.

Let me see... new product, most expensive single oven KA makes, sketchy history on ovens (as far as I have seen here - I was considering them a while ago), no reviews anywhere that I can find... I am not as surprised as you seem to be that no one here is chiming in.

I would be most interested in your impressions if you do buy one.

I know nothing about them but tend to shy away from new products that sound a little dodgy until they have been on the market long enough to have glitches worked out. What is a steam injected oven used for besides baking bread?

Thank you for your replies. My girlfriend bought a Miele Steam Oven (size of a microwave). I thought they would steam vegetables, but oh no, she steams ribs before they barbeque them, she steams potatoes to make mashed, she seems to steam a lot of things I never knew would be steamed. And yes she bakes one loaf (so small oven) of bread. I found the KA oven and thought what a perfect solution. So if you don't buy KA steam assist ovens, and it seems there is a lot of fear for KA ovens, would you buy Monogram ovens or what. Love your input a lot.
