how long should a ceiling fan hang in a modified a frame?
Comments (1)I would think about how high up from the floor it should be placed rather then how long to have it hang down.............You should be able to get a rod to hang it down just about any length from the ceiling........The distance from the floor to the bottom of the fan can be around 10", possible a little higher if the room is huge..............See MoreHow should we mount ceiling fan on support beam?
Comments (3)Agree with not putting fan on beam. Due to ceiling construction, a problem with running new wires. Why not use the ceiling light to Right of beam, 2nd from window wall (if that makes location fairly central)? Drop fan to below beam. With the MC open-beam style, would go for fairly sleek, modern design, on remote switch. And for that style reason, don't care for the rustic fireplace insert. Could replace with more modern one, wood, gas, or electric depending upon availability in your location....See MoreHow big should I make my master bath?
Comments (2)It is difficult to give you advice as to the size and shape of your new master bath without seeing a floor plan of the sun porch and the existing master bedroom.......A floor plan of that area of the house would be very helpful. I could recommend a minimum size for a master bath which could be anywhere from about 70 sf to 100 sf...... A typical small bathroom with a tub /shower combo, a toilet and a 3 foot wide vanity is usually 5 feet wide x 8.5 to 9 feet long....See MoreHow long should a bathroom mirror be?
Comments (0)My vanity size is 1200mm but the wall is 3200. The vanity will be off centre to also fit one end of an egg shape free standing stone bath. I want a recessed mirror 1500mm in height and the 3200mm length of the wall but my husband thinks it will look odd and that it should only go 200mm either side of the vanity....See Moreterezosa / terriks
