I tend to layer my necklaces, I use several at once. I like chunky ones, because I'm a big gal and dainty looks ridiculous on me. When I wear bold necklaces, I go easy on, or forgo earrings.

I like chandelier type earrings anyway, so if I wear them, I wear a simple necklace, or just let the earrings be the statement piece.

Same with bracelets, if I wear them, I stack 'em on, the more the better, but I usually don't wear them anymore since I'm so puffed up lately.

I love rings and wear several. I guess you could say I'm fond of jewelry! I get a lot of compliments on my jewelry selections and the way I wear it. Especially when I wear a lot of turquoise and stone jewelry.

How I wear my jewelry is pretty conservative (some might say boring!) I wear my watch and wedding ring every day, with a ring and bracelet on the other side. I also wear two gold necklaces, and I wear hoop earrings. When I go out, I wear some dressier jewelry, but nothing very dramatic, and not a lot of it. I mix up gold and silver, but I like it to have kind of the same degree of dressiness/casualness.

My go-to earrings are white gold, squared hoops. I don't wear my wedding or engagement rings daily because I work out a lot - my hands swell doing cardio and I don't like to handle weights with rings on. In summer I'm in the garden a lot or doing various projects so day to day jewelry is minimal and usually just earrings.

However, when going out with DH or friends I like to wear more and it will vary from kooky costume to sparkly gems depending on the occasion.

I enjoy jewelry and am always buying it. I usually get sterling or good quality costume- something that won't turn or have nickel.
I always wear earrings and if I wear a necklace that is prominent, then the earrings still coordinate and are simple studs of some kind. My favorite look/style for jewelry is the Sundance catalog, only I try and find pieces that are a little more affordable to me.

Although I have and buy jewelry all over, the few recognizable brands that I buy often are Barse and Fossil.

I coordinate but don't wear matched sets so I'd say I'm more in the "one statement piece" group. I have a couple of necklaces from the 30's that are very interesting pieces so when I wear them I don't wear a broach. If I'm wearing a simple necklace I will wear a more stand out broach.

I typically keep my stones in the same family. I wear diamonds with anything (neutral and all) but if I'm in saphires I stick with those, or rubies with garnets but not with say yellow saphire or emeralds.

I often wear a statement necklace with a bracelet that is also special, but when I say "statement" I'm just saying interesting in a simple antique sort of way. I never layer nor do I wear large pieces as I can't afford huge diamonds and rubys LOL

I wear gold with gold unless I have a mixed piece on. The only silver I wear is some funky stuff with semi precious stones which I wear when doing stuff around the house or shopping or something because I don't like to have the antiques on when I might be smacking into something (ie when cleaning house or laundry).

I like Luannes look. She does wear some modern pieces I wouldn't consider, but she does it with class. I'd probably consider things like that if I were three feet taller and a classy countess :oP

I'm also a Sundance kind of gal. Being the wife of the caster who makes jewelry for a few Sundance artists, I can generally get anything I want from our customers. I'm not really a jewelry person so I certainly do not take advantage like I could. LOL!

I wear two rings and a necklace everyday. I feel naked without them. Never wear earrings, my holes are surely closed and since my hair covers my ears, it's no big deal.

I have a couple bracelets but don't wear them except for special occasions. (They drive me nuts.) I never wear my watches.

I love jewelry, more the Sundance or artsy type than, say, what you'd find at Tiffany (though I have a few things from there too!). I wear a necklace and earrings every day, and I have one bracelet (from a Sundance artist!) that I wear constantly but sometimes I'll add another one on the other wrist. I have a LOT of stuff because DH loves to buy it. I wish I had the knack of layering necklaces. I am also trying to branch out a bit and wear more scarves -- I have a couple of spring ones that are cute but I feel a little "over the top" when I put one on. So they mostly hang around in the closet, waiting for me to get brave.

My clothes in general are pretty boring, so I rely on my jewelry to add interest.

I've been browsing the Sundance online catalog since last night. I'm already smitten with some jewelry, clothes and a purse, and have barely begun to browse! :)

But Iggie!! What about your VIP status at Safeway? Who needs to be three feet taller and a countess if you have VIP status at the grocery store?

Because I don't work outside the home and very rarely dress up, what I do is keep a little box inside my coffee table drawer. I know, it sounds strange!

Inside it has my watch which is silver, and several casual rings to wear on my right hand, which are gold.

I always sit there before I go anywhere and put lotion on my hands, also in the drawer, then choose a ring.

The Jewels are in the main jewelry box, and as much as I love necklaces, and I have many pretty one's, I just don't like wearing them, mostly because they're too delicate and would get lost with my clothes.

Or I'm just too lazy to put one on. lol

Lol Goldie....I've had to take to wearing the crown jewels when shopping for toilet tissue just to show how elite I really am :p. It's tedious really. Yesterday the tiara got caught on one of the lights over the lettuce. When I heard the fake thunder I knew it was going to go diwn hill from there....

I really love jewelry.

It's all about whether or not I wear a necklace. If I wear a chunky necklace, I don't wear earrings or a bracelet. I do wear a ring. I really don't have a dainty necklace but if I did, I would wear more substantial earrings and would gauge what I wear in my ears to the size of the necklace.

If I wear large hoop or chunky earrings, I don't wear a necklace. I will wear a bracelet.

I always wear a ring on one hand. Never multiples.

I have some great David Yurman and Di Modolo pieces that fits what I do and I can intermingle with just about any other jewelry.

I love and wear all kinds of jewelry! It really pulls together an outfit.

I drool over each Sundance catalog I receive (oooh, Golddust, aren't you well-connected! Nice!) I don't buy from it, but find inspiration and fun from it!

I also have more conservative, traditional pieces. My dh likes more obvious, sparkly jewels! He loves buying me Swarovski crystal necklaces for some reason! While I like those pieces very much, when buying for myself I choose more understated things.

I wear a necklace and earrings every day.

I love white gold and silver. Once in a blue moon I'll wear gold.

As I matter of fact I do wear jewelry differently at my 2 homes!

I can't stand cold metal touching me so I don't wear necklaces in the winter (from Nov to about March) at my regular home. And I wear one particular pair of earring almost all winter because they dangle but not long enough to touch my skin. Some of the longer ones end up touching my neck from my scarves & bulky coat so I avoid those. It's crazy but cold metal just sends a chill right through me and makes me feel colder.

Since it's warmer in HHI, I do wear necklaces & earrings and even bracelets. I usually bring a few down with me so that I can have some variety.

One necklace at a time, if it's bold than the earrings are smaller. One bracelet at a time and it depends on my sleeve length.

In both places, I occasionally wear rings when I remember them.

Your comments about gold & blue reminds me that I have an 18k gold ring with a lapis lazuli stone. I should dig that out and start wearing it again.

Well now, lapis and gold is another story! That sounds absolutely stunning, HH. Maybe since Lapis is such a rich, vivid blue, and often has gold veining running through it, the warmth of yellow gold is quite wonderful with it. Yes, I think you should revisit that piece of jewelry!

I do prefer most other blue gems, sapphire and aquamarine stones come to mind, set in white metals.
