I do think Homeworks is the corporate name for Arhuas but I don't think they own Mccreary Modern. The bulk of the furniture sold at Arhuas is made by Thomas Bain of Conover NC, which makes a fairly nice product most of which is 8 way tied. They may use 5/4 hardwood and or plywood frames.

McCreary Modern of Newton, NC is privately owned. They make a pretty nice product,department store clean look, well tailored, but they do use plywood frames and no sag springs. They tend to sell only large retailers such as Crate and Barrel (largest acct), Room and Board (second largest), Arhaus and Macys.

I purchased a sofa from Crate and Barrel and when I requested a fabric sample of the sofa it came from McCreary Modern. Can I somehow get fabric from them?

McCreary modern sells large retailers and do volume with these companies. I doubt if they would sell you directly. You might ask the mill and style number of the fabric and then google it and see if it is available. You can purchase the fabric from Crate and Barrel but it will have a good mark up. Another option is to send the sample to a large fabric wholesaler such as Greenhouse fabrics in North Carolina and see if they have it but it might not be that must less if any than purchasing it direclty from the retailer.
