I've had good experiences with Room and Board, but I haven't ordered anything made by Innovations.

Does your son sleep in your room quite a bit, or only occasionally? If it's only once in a while, you might do just as well (and spend less) with a pop-up cot or trundle unit.

You could store the trundle unit under his bed when he's not using it, and you could also use it for sleepovers when he's older.

My experience with futons is that they take up more room than you think they will, and don't get used as often as you think they will.
