After house fire house was gutted and in the process of being rebuilt. The garage was converted into a family room by the previous owners and the slope was left. I would like to have tile in the room but contractor said I would have to have a cement pour to bring the floor level before I could use tile and is recommending carpet. The slope is more than about 3-4 inches. Are there any alternatives for me other than carpet.
