Bermex is similar to Canadel. I don't own it so I do not know about the quality when compared to Canadel.

We bought a Canadel set a few months ago. We love love LOVE it! We needed specific sizes..for the table, but specifically for the china cabinet so it could fit on the only available wall. The finish is beautiful on the set and it is very well made. I am very picky, but I can find no fault at all with the set.

We looked at all the brands ,and bought Canadel. Saloom was much more expensive and better made but I just fell in love the the Canadel. They just had everyting from size to style, and very nice quality. Can't wait to get it, should be here in 2 weeks.

We have a Canadel-made dining room set and love it, but will likely go with the less expensive Shermag for our kitchen. Tons of options and appears to be better made than similarly (low) priced options that are mostly fiberboard and/or veneer.

We have Bermex and most of the furniture was in good condition, but one chair had a defect, and we found Bermex to have poor customer service and would not order from them again.

We received our Canadel dinning set, it arrived in perfect condition and is beautiful. Can't wait to serve Thanksgivng Dinner.
