Am afraid the Berber loop type carpeting might not withstand my dogs nails,and this is the the type rug that most resembles sisal or seagrass. I've looked at the combo of cut and looped, but it's difficult to tell on small samples if it will indeed resemble the look I seek. Makes sense that if a loop is pulled on the combo type it only needs to be cut to blend right in with the other cuts. Do any of you have a pic of yurs or a site with great pics, or....? Thanks so much!

It's harder than paint selection! With paint you can paint a large sample right there on your wall.
