I plan to install 3/4 hardwood floor in our office. Currently it is carpet and it's old old vinyl sheet under it. The vinyl sheets were glued to plywood as I can tell by looking up from under in basement. Overall condition of vinyl sheets is alright, I think.(haven't remove all the carpet yet) On one corner, some sheets are wrapped due to water damage I believe. How can I fix the wrapped vinyl to make it flat that I can put hardwood floor over it? I really really don't want to remove the vinyl sheets because I am sure I will blew it and damage the subfloor. What would you do?
