how much should it cost to replace a thermocouple?

I just had a thermocouple replaced on a 10 year old peerles boiler for $389. Does that seem reasonable? It seems like a lot to me, but I live in Chicago and today the high is -4. But before I go getting all pissy I thought I would see what you all think. Thanks
