Do you usually eat this as is or do you pour syrup or fruit over the top?

We eat as is....it's very rich. Fruit would be a nice added touch.

We could eat this every weekend, but our waist lines are saying NO :)

Thanks for responding. I found a recipe that is the same as I got from this site but it has drunken strawberries for a topping.

    Drunken Strawberries
1 qt. strawberries, hulled and sliced 1/4-inch thick (lengthwise)
    1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup Grand Marnier or Cointreau
Combine strawberries, sugar and Grand Marnier in a small bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours up to 24 hours.

I always serve it as is but those strawberries sound like a great addition to me.

I had to check in to see if Leona had managed to make a diet thread out of cream brulee! LOL!
I like a little syrup on mine....adding insult to injury!
