College football...BISON-Gopher week begins!!!!

Uffda!!

Bison/Gopher football game #3 is this Saturday in Minneapolis, MN...AND DD & I ARE GOING!!

I think we're 1-1 with the Big-Ten Gophers. 2 yrs. ago, we STUNNED Minneapolis by beating the Big-10 school in the Metrodome. New Coach now obviously for the Gophers...hmmmmmm?!

(mean/sly wink here!!)

I loved how the Gophers coach at the time largely panned us in the press, radio, etc.

....GUESS what happened though!

There's going to be a lot of Bison-Green @ TCF-Bank Stadium this Sat.!!!!!

Thankfully, the game is @ 6pm I believe. Day-long tailgating for the Bison-faithful! We're stayin' down in Bloomington at a Hotel Sat. night.

Oh Jeez.....I.....CAN'T.....WAIT....!!!

(I get goosebumps just typin' this stuff!!)

I think AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" will be used a lot this week for Bison practices!! Part of SU's slogan is "The Thundering Herd". We have SUCH a damn cool intro-video for home-games to that song....

Fargodome lights go out.

It's SO DAMN coool! I wish we could have this in Mpls....

I hope you have an awesome time at the game. It should be a good one.
As for us, we are HUGE Sooners fans and loved watching them beat Florida State last weekend! Go OU!!!!

I understand your excitement. We'll be at the BSU game Saturday for the first home game this season. Followed them to Atlanta, but can't wait to watch them play on the Blue again!

Aaaahhhh yessss....the infamous "Blue Turf"!!

Still can't make up my mind if I like it or not!?!??!

I AM excited to see the Gopher's new TCF (Twin-Cities Federal bank) Stadium on the U of M campus.

My Bison lost a playoff game last Dec. 2010 at Eastern-Washington state in OT....on their RED turf!!! Crappy/snowy/slushy conditions for that game....Uffda!!

The linked picture below shows our last years QB, Brock Jensen, in utter disappointment, on their red turf, after that OT ruling...

You gotta love the Blue! I was at BSU today picking up our season tickets and my "can you see me now" blue T-shirt. They won't let BSU wear blue uniforms now in the MW conference at conference home games (claiming the opposition can't see blue players on the blue turf!). Hmm, no complaints about green on green or red on that awful red turf! Oh well, the Blue Turf just makes me smile! And as far as we know only one duck (outside of the Oregon Ducks) has crash landed on the Blue! Good luck to you and your game.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. After being #1 in the nation for at least half of my life, we're kind of braggerts. lol.
