Blanco Silgranite sink -- what does it feel like?

I am planning on replacing the countertops and sink in my kitchen, and am considering a Blanco Silgranite Super Single sink in Anthracite.

I live in Maine and showrooms with these sinks are not thick on the ground, so I have yet to see one firsthand. If you have one, can you tell me what it feels like? Is it hard, like say Silestone? Or does it have a more plastic feel, like Swanstone?

This sink will be used a lot, as I am an avid cook and in the summer do a lot of gardening/home canning and freezing. I can't WAIT to get rid of the stainless double sink I am currently using. Given that kind of use, what are your thoughts? Is this a good choice?

Thanks for any other comments/feedback.
