Aw, thanks mybrowneyedgirls! :) I have yet to take "finished" pics of my kitchen, still need to finish up lighting and do some fixes. But, I'm glad you like it! We do too. :)

The wall color is Benjamin Moore #1510 - Dried Basil. It has more than a hint of green to it. It reads green, but a nice organic, khaki kind of green.

Before the remodel we had BM #2142 - Dry Sage. It is similar, but a little bit darker.

We used the slightly lighter color #1509 - Spanish Olive in our hallway near the bedrooms so it wouldn't get too dark. It's not too pastel-y, so if the Dried Basil is too dark, you might give that a try.

Thank you. That is the problem I've been having when searching for a similar color--everything has been turning out too pastel-y. I will definitely have to give these colors a try. Can't wait to see more photos!

Yes, green is hard to pick! I was surprised how much gray was in the greens that ended up working for us. I like warm colors and didn't think going into the gray end of the spectrum would work at all. But, with the greens, it seems to work. The end result isn't gray or cool at all. It just takes the pastel-y-ness (new word) out of it. :)

Check ut BU Baby Turtle. It seems to be a popular one on the home decorating forum. It's green, but a very neutral green.
