It is (even with a few of the Ikea doors, but I prefer your idea). Granite is fine with most Ikea installs.

Check out ikeafans.com for examples of just about everything. They are very helpful.

And you don't need to do custom for a wood hood.

We bought Ikea cabinets and are detailing them to look older. There are a couple of door styles that work well for this in white or dark brown.

Corbels, crown moulding and hardware can give them a past.

That is pretty much what we are doing.

We are just finishing the prep work. The fun stuff is coming soon. We aren't having the fancy wood hood, though. That was the compromise I made with my hubby because I got my way on just about everything else. *big grin*

No pictures yet, but I know there are pictures on Ikeafans of more traditional kitchens, but using the Lidingo door style. We are doing custom doors because the IKEA doors are just too white for us, though I love the style of Stat.
