We've gotten to know a very knowledgable salesman at Lowe's who's been selling appliances for maybe 30 years - mostly not at Lowes. We just came back from talking to him about needing to change what we had planned re laundry appliances -- we need to go from the F&P top loader to a front loader because of water issues where we're building.

He's had a Bosch FL for 18 years and said if he had to replace it today, he'd get one of the Samsungs -- he said that they're similar but the Samsung has the Silvercare feature that would help with his family's allergies. Lowe's has a video set up on top that shows how the washing machine self-levels when it vibrates too much. You might go into Lowe's and see if they have the demo set up.
