Hi-

We are redoing our kitchen and stuck on the pendant system over the island. We have pretty much decided on a low-voltage rail, with a mix of pendants and spots. One place I went said you have to buy all parts from the same manufacturer. Is this right? If I want a fancy "lampshade" from one place, does that mean I am stuck ordering all the other stuff from them as well?

I'd appreciate any help at all - I am not excited about spending tons of money on the rail part of the system in order to get the glass piece I want!
