Gee...hasn't anyone used the BM Carrington Beige? I don't really like the next colour up "wheeling neutral" but would appreciate any suggestions on what colour would look good with the BM carrington beige.

I have not used Carrington Beige- but in my old home I used BM Stone house which the Carrington Beige reminds me of. I used all earth tones that worked with it (not at all in the same families, but all coordinated well with it and I loved standing in my foyer looking at every room to see all the colors and how well they worked together.

What are the other colors in your kitchen (cabinets, counter-tops, etc.) Would you be willing to use another color family or did you want to stay in the neutrals?

Because you can see right through my kitchen into dining room and living room I just thought it would be good to have colours that co-ordinated well because its a small area. So I thought neutrals would work well. Thats why I was considering what would work well with the BM Carrington Beige maybe just a shade darker. I had considered doing the kitchen in the carrington beige but because my cupboards and counter top are white thought maybe a bit more contrast would work better. Thanks for any suggestions.

Maybe try having your Ben Moore paint shop mix you up a sample of double and triple-pigmented versions of the lovely grey-greenish Carrington beige? While I haven't used Carrington beige yet, it is a high favorite on a sample wall I'be been living with a while. It also was a recommended color of the guy that did "Designing for the Sexes", an old HGTV series.
