Ok - I've been outed (hanging my head in shame as I try and sneak outa here!) ummmm ...... the chairs are already done and I haven't posted an update - but what else is new??!! I'm the queen of not following up with the end of the story :-/

That Cottage Vine fabric is very cute! Are you going to use it or something like it in your MBR? I ended up with something more colorful and a bit funkier than my initial plan but when I saw it I knew it was the one! I promise - cross my heart - I will post pics tomorrow. The room is no where near done, nothing on the walls, no rug..... but the chairs are done and I'll show you how they look.

Deb, I'm actually glad to know you did find the fabric that is the one! You were probably waiting until more of the room was finished before posting pics, but I, as well as everyone else, I'm sure, will be anxious to see the finished chairs anyway.

I'm not sure about using that fabric in the MBR. I already have one floral, so it may be a little too much, but I really like it.

I've been battling some bug last couple of days but so far it's not a full fledged anything, just enough to take the starch out of me. Here are a few pictures to show you the dining room chairs. Still a long way to go - nothing on the walls yet or floor, still deciding about painting the buffet pieces, still need to decide on mirror finish...... story of my life!

Very original choice of fabric. And somehow, it works so well on those chairs. Kinda funky, edgy, yet floral/traditional somehow too. I like the look!
