How did you attach the mirror so it seems as if it is floating?

please!! i need to know the best way to install a mirror like that over tile.

My contractor cut a piece of thick plywood 2 inches smaller on both sides than the mirror. He painted the sides black and then using some bonding agent to bond the wood to the tile and the mirror to the plywood. It was easy and looks amazing.
