What type of knobs/handles are in your kitchen?

Im looking to update my kitchen (oak cabinets) with new knobs. I have noticed all kinds of different patterns: knobs on drawers with handles on cabinets, or handles on drawers with knobs on cabinets, or knobs everywhere. What is in style???? (I have 30 cabinets and 7 drawers) Oh, and do I put anything on the two faux-drawers under the sink?

My philosophy was you should know what it is and how to open it by looking at the hardware. So, I did knobs on the doors, and 6" pulls on the drawers. And on the "faux" fronts that don't open, I didn't put anything. But I don't think there is any right way; just think about how use it and what would make sense to you.

I did knobs on all caramel colored doors. Cup pulls on all top drawers regardless of width. 3 different size pulls on all other drawers depending on width. Black hardware on caramel colored cabinets, Antique brass on white cabinets to match reused exposed hinges. I did pulls on solid white painted cabinets doors. Knobs on glass white painted cabinet doors. Different groups of knobs and pulls for each color cabinets. Oh, and black Manhandles for the pantry doors.

Didn't use anything on faux fronts. Did make up the rules as I went along and love the results.

I am using handles on all my cabinet doors and drawers. I didn't put any on the faux drawers underneath my cooktop because that is where I stand to cook and I didn't want to be bumping into the handles while I cook. The sink would be the same for me if I had faux drawers there (I have flip drawers, so they have to have handles.)

I put knobs on cabinets, pulls on drawers: different sized pulls for different size drawers. Pulls on pull outs. Appliance handles on paneled fridge and DW and 36" drawers under cooktop. No false drawers here, I have tilt out drawers under sinks and put 2 pulls, so I stand between them.

I have handles on false doors and drawers. We didn't want to fool anyone, but we tried without them first and found that for balance and symmetry they were needed. Of course, everyone who comes into the kitchen for the first time tries to open the pull-out that isn't a pull-out.

We have bin pulls on top drawers, handles on all lower drawers, handles on pullouts, handles on appliance garages tip-up doors, vertical handles on tall narrow doors, and knobs on all other doors.

We have knobs for our doors and pulls for the drawers. Nothing is going on the false front for the sink.

Although we debated on this so I could have a place near the sink to hang my dishtowel. But with painted cabs I didnt want to risk ruining them by leaving a damp towel draped across it 24/7.

I am very short, and did not want knobs anywhere. I once had a kitchen with knobs, and I kept catching the pockets of my clothing on the knobs.

In my present kitchen I have handles on the doors, and bin pulls on drawers. We are building a new home, and we will have handles on everything, but in different sizes ranging from approx 4" to 7". I am not putting handles on the fake drawer fronts on the sink base, nor on the island.
