Tori Spelling doesn't talk to her Mom???

I just read an article that said Tori doesn't speak to her Mom Candy and apparently Candy has never met her granchildren. How sad is that, the article tho didn't say why they don't speak.

Does anyone know???

Candy and Aaron Spelling paid more than $1 million for Tori's wedding to her first husband. Less than (or about) a year later, Tori divorced him because she had decided she was in love with another man. That's when the feud with her mother began (I guess her mom thought she should have stayed married to the first hubby even though she didn't love him).

Tori was living in a place that her mother owned, and Candy evicted her. Candy was not invited to Tori's second wedding.

Aaron Spelling's health deteriorated but Candy apparently kept the news from Tori. When Aaron eventually died, Tori found out about it via an e-mail message!

Prior to Aaron's death, Candy made sure that Aaron's Final Will & Testament was changed, leaving Tori only $800,000. May seem like a lot of money to us, but in that family it was pocket change. The remainder of Aaron Spelling's billion dollar fortune was left to Candy.

Subsequently, Tori became pregnant and when she gave birth, Candy sort of mellowed out, and she was allowed to see the baby. It seemed like Candy and Tori were patching things up.

But, Tori had a second child, who is now 9 months old, but Candy has never net the child.

Tori says that while her father was dying, her mom started dating someone. He was an accountant, or business manager, or someone connected to the family. He was also a lot younger than Candy. Her mother denies there was an improper relationship.

Hard to really care about these spoiled, small-minded people.

Sounds like Tori and her Mom are alike.

Tori dated another man while married and Candy had an affair while her husband was dying.

    Nice family

I suspect that they're both messed up.

I do give Tori Spelling credit. She seems to have a nice little family and has adjusted to not being uber-wealthy. She could have ended up a party-girl, with no life skills, who depended on Daddy's money.

Ditto Granlan. And somehow, just looking at Candy and Tori, none of this surprises me.

Oh, leave Tori alone. She prolly had a good reason.

I don't speak to my mom either.

Sometimes, the people involved should be the only ones knowing the WHY.

Ho-hum....my wish for them is to have to live, like and with, what we regular folk have to deal with all our lives. These people have no clue, and I really don't give a rip about any thing concerning them. Dottie

I was shocked when Tori said that she wasn't super rich like everyone thought. I always wondered why until I read Lindsey's post.

The mother sounds a bit selfish and it seemed as if Tori wanted her to be a part of Monkey's first birthday party, but she refused to attend. (Was it Loni Anderson who came as the mother?)

Candy is making CNN headlines today. Her dog chose the real estate agent that will be trying to sell her $150 million home.

    These people just ain't right.

I'm glad I don't read the papers or watch much tv....

I've never heard about these people...

And that's just okay with me.

If all those rich people cared about and helped out their families and fellow man....instead of using their money as a power thing...they'd live a lot happier lives

I read this just to see who these people are.

My one thought is that apperantly Candy's dog is the only smart one in the lot.

OMG Sue. I'm glad I swallowed my mouthful of water before reading your post.

I'm with Moni on this ... my daughter doesn't talk to me either, and I'd be mortified if the press felt they had the 'right' to investigate and print it all over the world, what our issues are. Some things are personal/private and really are no one else's business. Just because a person is a 'star' of some kind, to me that means their professional life is up for review but it doesn't mean their personal life is.

What was stopping Tori from keeping in touch with her father? She'd have known he was in ill health. To bad for her.

I kind of agree with Moni too. I was reporting what I'd heard, but not judging either one of them. Just because they have money, does not mean they don't have a lot of dysfunction. I don't begrudge people who are affluent, or feel that they deserve to have difficulties, somehow. And I sure don't take any pleasure in people who grew up priviledged having financial, or any other problems.

Money is truly the "root" of evil. It pays to be "Po".

And she's her step-mom, not her mother. Hate to be a nit-picker. I really don't care about Hollywood people. Their lives are gossip material for the rest of us.

It's unfortunate but there are probably lots of daughters that don't speak to their mother.

I'm one of them....I have only talked to my mom twice on the phone in the last 9 years. Haven't seen her since April of 2000.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they are biological mother and daughter. I remember seeing pictures of Tori with Candy and Aaron when she was a baby. Plus they look a lot alike.

I've known a lot of people who didn't have a quarter to spare with very unhappy relationships within the family - I don't think this is a money driven issue with human beings.

As far as what Moni said about their relationship not being anyones business...I agree with that, however, Tori wrote a book talking about it all, then did a reality tv show and still talked about it. And now Candy has a book.

If they didnt want to air their dirty laundry, they should not have written books.

There's always 2 sides to every story. Sure we hear what we hear from both of them but I'm sure there's probably alot more to their stories than what their books say though.

    Harry picked my plumber!

The first plumber that came to give us an estimate was afraid of Harry, and flinched toward BeeGee.

I told him I didn't need his services and he should leave.

    Quickly.

    He did.

The second plumber came in, saw the dogs, and was immediatly on his knees, playing with them, rubbing their ears, and giving them hugs.

    He was hired.
