Have you checked "The Guide" in the back of the magazine?
I checked on line, and it shows the May 2008 cover (see photo below).

If that's the one, I'll try to help the only way I know how ;) Lowe's carries Martha's paint line now. Knowing Martha, she's probably using her own line of colors. ;-) I have the Lowe's software that contains her color palette. (Have some of the swatches but can't find them.) I've run through the blues in a sample room in the software, using a room that has white for comparison to the magazine cover photo. The closet ones I found are shown below. (Please keep in mind monitors and video cards will throw colors off, but she only has a few choices in blues that are that vivid, and looks like a hint of green it it. It is a pretty color!)

If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it's either Blue Agave or maybe Open Sky with lighting on it for photography.

Wow!! Thank you so much for going to all that trouble! I have to agree the Agave looks closest. Blue is such a tough color to pin down.

Take the cover and have it matched. Pratt & Lambert would be my first choice, then BenM for a color like that.

The cover has enough open and consistent area for them to be able to grab for a match. Test it as an exact match and then you might want to consider asking them to tone it down just a snidge. Too bright and too clear are usually things to steer clear of. That color matched and dulled a bit would make a pretty room.
