Actually, flyleft, it was stored in his garage. They were in a small tract house and my guess is that they may have bought the bed before the house and it probably didn't fit.

Ah, ilovetn...well, there's a story there at any rate...such a great deal. It's the kind of bed you can pass down as an heirloom. Enjoy it!

OMG, ilovetn, I bought a similar bed frame off of Craigslist! I've been enjoying it thoroughly for almost a year and am soooo glad I made hubby dust off his truck and go get it for me. Congrats on yours, hope you'll be enjoying it soon.

We aren't IN Tennessee. We want to be, but right now we are in Florida. I know our craigslist has pages and pages every day. Where we are moving in TN, you are lucky to see 3 or 4 ads in a week!

the bed is totally beautiful..it reminds me of mine, but mine is oak and is carved with oakleaves..
i totally love mine even though you tend to never move it once it is in place..too heavy ! enjoy

We bought a home in south Greene county near the mountains. Beautiful scenery. I looked all over the back of the pieces of the bed and there is no manufacturer's label. Sorry

Yes, I'm somewhat familiar. I know the major highways and how to get to the Walmart, :) Our address is Greeneville. The house we bought is off the Asheville Hwy. If we ever get to move there, we'll have to get together.

Well, since you've already found Wal-mart it looks like you've seen it all -lol! Let's do get together! I live in the historic district downtown so you aren't too far away. Thanks for looking for the label by the way. You don't happen to live in the Tallahassee area do you? My nieghbors are moving to FL when their house here sells and I believe they are looking in that general area for a home.

First of all, Ilovtn, the bed is stunning! All I ever find at garage sales is junk . . . you did great!

And as a new TN resident myself, I had to look up Greene County, but y'all are way across the state from me . . . I'm south of Nashville, building in Williamson County.

Hope your FLA house sells quickly and you can get moved with your beautiful new bed!!
