Hanging drapes on wire cables? Any advice?

In my daughters room there are two windows that butt up next to each other in the corner. This makes it difficult to hang curtains. With a valance and the 2 1/2 inch flat rods I was able to bend heavy corrugated around the corner.

Now we are wanting to hang curtains at her windows. We were in Target and found a cable wire assembly to hang curtains from. It has three brackets to thread the cable thru and you tighten it at the end with an allen wrench. Rings with clips are used to hang the drapes from. My daughter wants to use this but I'm not sure. Perhaps we just need to use two rods that butt up to each other in the corner.

I have seen this on decorating shows, but has anyone used this system in real life? It would make it easy to go around the corner with the cable. Please give me any feedback-good or bad! Thanks
