Susie, I think you'll be fine. Faucets and sinks have traditionally been a shade of stainless or chrome and typically blend in. I would only go with a different finish if you want to highlight the sink or faucet.

I have the bronze door handles throughout our house with only a couple visible from the kitchen where I have stainless appliances, sinks & faucets--but I also have antique silver light fixtures. My master bath is another story though-- I have bronze light fixtures, the sinks are white with chrome faucets, the tub is biscuit with chrome faucets, and the shower controls, 2 shower heads, and the handshower with slide bar are all antique pewter--don't forget I have bronze door handles (4 in that room) and it all goes together nicely even though the space is smaller than the kitchen.

Thank you! I'm stressing over everything to the point where I can't make up my mind. I thought this part would be fun. It took me weeks just to decide on what kind of sink I wanted. Who knew picking out a sink would be so difficult. Single bowl, double bowl, 70/30, stainless, siligranite, will 10" be too deep???? Oh how my head hurts. :-)

We have oil-rubbed bronze lights & hardware, appliances are stainless, sink is single bowl stainless, faucet is chrome. I have been told to mix it up too.

Stainless steel appliances and sink, brushed nickel hardware, orb light fixtures and mosaic copper backsplash. It had better be ok to mix metals.

Sounds fine to me. We have all ORB light fixtures throughout the house(and ORB doorknobs), and we have stainless appliances, stainless sink and faucet and brushed nickel cabinet hardware.
