Sounds too small to me IMO. Maybe there's somewhere else you could put the rug, since it's such a bargain?? Do you have any pics of it?

I was intending to have it jutt out from under the bed, so there'd need to be enough on each side for it to look proportionate. I guess this sized rug leaves 16.25 on each side only.

A 6x9 rug is only 69" wide, so I don't see how this would fit at all. You'd only have some on the sides if you ran it long ways under the bed?? Do you not want the rug to show on all three sides?

When you say 57" deep is that the height of the bed? I'm confused by your dimensions.

If it's 81" wide and 95" long, I would think you'd want at least 2-3 feet of carpet showing so that would mean a rug that was 10 x 12 would fit best.

There's going to be so much rug hidden under that huge king bed, have you thought about doing two runners down each side?

Well the exact rug dimension is 5'9 by 9'6.

57" actually refers to the headboard height..sorry, that was not really relevant. It's 81.5" wide and 95 long.
