I did this in my bathroom and didn't have the same result. Did you put a sealer on the grout? Could tone down the colour. Also, what colours are in your kitchen? If you have a red hue in the kitchen it could be playing off that.

That is true...I have high gloss white cabinets and black granite counter. The Wall paint is a bright blue. I would put a picture up, but I am new to this forum and do not know how. I have not put the sealer on yet because I read that I need to wait 3 days and I just grouted yesterday. There is a cherry tree outside of the window that could be reflected some pink. I am just not sure. I still love the backsplash, just wish I had known better about the grout. I really thought that bright white was the way to go. Anyone know how to post pics??

The grout colors generally used with white tile are either light beige or light gray. They provide a subtle contrast, and keep the tile from looking grayish.

jayjay. upload your photos to a site like TinyPic.com Then click on Edit. A new page opens up. Click on Resize and pick Large. Click on the bottom Save Copy. A new window opens up. Copy the entire link address under HTML for Websites. THEN paste the link into the body of your post.

When you hit Preview you'll see the photo even though in the box it's just the codes. OK?

Thank you all so much. I am still trying to get a pic uploaded so I can show you what I am mean. Does anyone know if the grout colorant can be used if the grout is sealed? Also, I want to get a picture up because I am wondering if the issue is also that my cabinets are a high gloss white (painted several months ago.) I was going to install glass mosaic tiles, but I didnt want to be too color specific in the even that we need to change the paint color or sell the home.
