2story house.Greywater kitchen sink,shower. Basic filter guidence

Two story house. Need Greywater from kitchen sink and shower and toilet sink going to a basic filter. Need guidence.

What I'm asking is two things.

1. Is there a basic easy to make filter so as to make sure water that reaches earthworms won't hurt them nor

will I see foaming from any part of the system.

Also I do not want to advertise that the system while I'm testing it. Later when it's working I'll be sure to get a permit if required. (1)

2. I have a two story house. Would the height of 22 feet at the sink help to move water through a filter?

How should I take into consideration the height of

the 2nd story water and should I make a separate system for 1st story water due to pressure differences?

Could someone who is experienced in my kind of setup please comment on how I might use the height to my

advantage?

Notes:

I do not use soap in the house. I use non scented and non dye detergent for every cleaning function in the house. I could and would ban the use of soap.

Cautions that concern me: I occasionally use chlorine or lye to clean things which respond to it.

The chlorine is often used at full strength so there would be short flows of 10% concentration in water of chlorine.

I could make an effort to divert it to a separate bucket

if you see a significant problem.

Notes: For you who are learning. The use of detergent instead of soap is generally a good thing because you

will avoid scum. Scum will clog the pores of filters, leave rings on the sink and tub. If you put some detergent into

your bath and still use soap (or detergent without perfume or dye) you'll find that you have a clean tub when you

exit. In addition detergent works better on grease than does soap. Greasy hands will come clean. And if you

regularly clean parts you can do it with a strong detergent solution and a stiff brush. This is easily recycled since

it's liquid and won't stick to containers because it's suspended oils.

(1) If you're aware of how greywater laws are applied would you mention it? I think it's on a city by city basis. But I also think some States have enacted laws allowing

greywater and it overrides any local laws.
