There is no best composite rail system,they all pretty much sux. A person can fasten ipe to any kind of rail, but what a crime that would be to hook it into the fake stuff. J

a couple of brands offer dimensional composite lumber that you can custom fabricate for your railing, and you could incorporate an ipe handrail.

I've only used the Premier, never heard of the others. If you like the plastic look then the Premier is a good choice. I'd don't like the look of composite rails, but I will stay this for them, they look exactly the same a few years down the road as they did new.

Take a look at a product called Permaporch manufactured by HBG Columns. It's made with cellular PVC (similar to Azek). The ballusters are solid (not hollow) and the posts are reinforced with aluminum. I've looked at most composite and vinyl rails and this is the only one that doesn't have that shiny, glossy, sheen that makes them all look so fake. One major drawback though, it's very pricey.
