I am selecting tile for a new home build. I've chosen a light beige colored porcelain tile in rectangles for the foyer, kitchen and breakfast area. It will meet carpet in the great room and wood in the study which will look fine. However, it will also meet the tile floor in the laundry room. I wanted to something more colorful for the laundry room and maybe use a less expensive ceramic tile.

Would it look right? Do you have anything similar?
