Definitely sea salt.

LOVE sea salt! That's what I used for my kitchen walls, and my dd and I joke that my favorite color is "kitchen wall color".

Sea salt is a lovely soft gray-green, but it can read oddly cold in some lights.

If you make a sample board, and that's the case in your room, also look at Window Pane - it's a wee bit more blue-green, and more reflective. It's also really good behind black.

bronwynsmom- I have a question for you. If we decide to use Powell Buff on my bedroom walls, do you think Window Pane could be used successfully on the ceiling? We are thinking about going with the P.B. because we are trending toward a more neutral color for our bedroom and using the Window Pane, Rainwashed, or Sea Salt in our master bath. Our tile flooring in the bathroom is the color along the lines of the colors I have mentioned. Can't go too blue because of that. If you think one of those three would look better as a ceiling color for the bedroom I would appreciate your ideas.

We used Sea Salt in one of our kids' bedrooms. (Not really a kid -he's in college but comes to visit his old folks sometimes.) It is a lovely color. Depending on the time of day, it can look gray or blue or even blue-green. We have maple furniture in there, which looks fine. I think it would work well with black furniture.

My master bedroom is painted SW Sea Salt and I absolutely love it. Not all of our furniture is black, but I do love how it goes with the wrought iron bed (and the black cat sleeping on it...).
