Do modern ovens (Miele) look good with traditional cabinetry?

I have posted our attempts at the layout long time ago. Things have since changed and we are now planning for a wall oven in a corner cabinet. I like the new plan but it makes the oven a very key element in the overall look of the kitchen due to the highly visible spot. The cabinets will be traditional, don't have the exact door style yet but think "medium cherry raised panel".

I am in need of a design advice. I like the Miele oven for all the features but have a reservation about its modern look. It doesn't help that the Miele website as well as the local stores only show them in contemporary cabinets.

Does anyone have a picture of a modern oven (Miele, Bosch etc.) installed in a traditional kitchen? I checked the finished kitchen blog but very few Miele ovens are listed there for some reason.

I think Viking or Dacor would look better but my research on the appliance forum has yield to many negative reviews of both brands.

annab6, I absolutely think it'll look great! I don't have any pictures (yet), but we're putting a pretty sleek / modern looking Gaggenau double wall oven with "traditional" painted white cabinetry. In my mind's eye it will look lovely.

Sorry I cannot show you anything but I did want to pipe in saying it'll all go together. It's more important to have an oven which you like and which works than something "period / style appropriate."

There are pics of my Miele ovens in my FKB. I have an 1890 kitchen and they look great with my inset doors and exposed hinges and antique hardware. You can't go wrong with class and Miele is that in spades. Caroline

I have a Miele oven with cherry inset shaker cabinets and it looks great. If I wasn't so technically illiterate, I would post a picture. Can't cook or post pictures! But my kitchen looks good. lol.
