JCPenny Linden Street Furniture Slip Cover?

Does anyone have the JCPenny Linden Street Furniture with the slipcovers? If so has anyone had luck with washing them in your machine yourself, or is drycleaning the only way. What are you using to spot clean?

I purchased the sofa and two chairs with the khaki slipcovers and my dog has them dirty after only 2 weeks. I dont want to have to dry clean every month, I would rather put them in the wash, but dont want them ruined.

Please post your experience with this line.

Thanks

daisy

Thank you! That's exactly what mine is as well. I think LindaKale is lying about ever selling these before. The cover they sent has cushion covers that are 23 x 26 which they say is correct for the Friday sofa. It's been a frustrating month of back and forth with them!

Just an update - I lucked out in finding a brand new in box sofa cover on FB marketplace in a nearby state. The person was kind enough to ship it (arriving this week!!!). Might be a good idea for anyone still looking for covers to try FB marketplace. I'm sure lots of people have these covers but don't realize they are sought after. I am also going to try deep cleaning and dying my old ivory cover another color once I have the new one (wish me luck!).

Does any know if the Friday sofa have the stain resistant chemicals on it? I didn’t see any warning label on the sofa. But they don’t always put one there. I think they should because the chemicals could cause cancer and consumers need to be aware. I googled this question and couldn’t find an answer.

cant help you on chemical application, sorry.

i did have a set of slipcovers recently made- Luv my couch too much!! i have the Butternut slipcovers i am not going to use. they are original but they have fade line where the sun hit the couch- so if anyone wants to try and BLEACH/Dye them you are welcome to them for price if s&h. im in Florida 33410 zip code. the are for the same size Lisa Morgan has picture above. Call your local upholstry company Or putit out there on NEXTDOOR, you’ll be suprised. i found a neighbor that sewed and I bought the material at ”onlinefabricstoreonlinefabric store.net”. #9-10 weight bull denim i used. still cheaper than buying a new couch!

    Hi,

We have JCP Linden St. slip covers for 1 sofa and 2 chairs in color "Natural."

We bought these in 2011 when we bought the furniture, stored in closet, never changed the covers and no longer have the furniture.

These slip covers remain unused, in their boxes. Just opened the boxes to verify they are in good shape and take these photos.

    If interested, email us: davidsina@gmail.com.

I'm so shocked that this popular sofa from years ago is lasting so long for so many. I don't even think there is a JCP near me. What a shame the ol' they don't make 'em like they used to.

Incredible that the sofas are still lasting and people are currently looking for replacement covers.

I'm going to be looking for new sofa in a year or two, and would definitely have considered this one. Oh well.

Hi! I know this post is very old, but I also am looking to replace my slipcovers for the couch/sofa and chair with ottoman and am having no luck finding these or something similar that won't break the bank. I tried the Ikea Ektorp and they do not fit at all. Wondering about the Ikea Uppland as saw previous post on here that it did fit the chair. I currently have the khaki but am looking for a grey if they have it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Hate to buy new furniture as mine is in great shape other than just dirty and chair arm has a hole in it :( Thanks!

I am in the same boat, love the couch and can't find anything to fit the Linden Street sofa & its super frustrating.

Hi, just noticed that this thread is still getting activity... as I shared earlier the sofa cover we had has been sold already. We do still have 2 chair covers in Natural. If I ever get around to posting these on eBay I'll post a link here. If you are interested in the chair covers, feel free to email me at davidsina@gmail.com Good luck everyone.

II don know if is the same sofa as the one that I have. mine is 15 years old ,a cream colored sectional. It has gone thru two small children and maintained its shape and cleanliness simply by spot cleaning stains, then throwing in the washer on warm then the dryer.Until you are used to it, keep top covers separate from bottom when washing because they are difficult to tell apart You also need to be kinda strong putting the covers back on, they are very tight that is why my 15 year old sofa still looks wonderful except for one thing now. I too jus got a short haired dog her hair is actually ruining the sofa, hair is getting in places I simply cant remove 😢.but dirt, you should have no problem in your machine👍🏼

Help! I am desperate to find a replacement slipcover for this sectional as well- any suggestions welcome! Can find it on eBay just for the individual sofas, not the sectional.

Wash in COLD water. Do NOT put in the dryer! Put back on as soon as it air dries a little. Let damp covers dry on the frame. Before doing this, you might want to pray you don't ruin it!
