Here ya go, they had a few pictures of what you want or close anyway. I think the floors by the island are wood, but in a dark stain, there is a camel colored throw rug so you can't really see the floors all that well.

This kitchen is in a house currently for sale, and I don't know much about it. The floors are darker wood, but not black. I think only the island is stainless, the perimeter counters are concrete.

I have a run of thick stainless counter, only not on cream cabinets...But I think your idea sounds wonderful. I love thick countertops and stainless on cream is a great look. You are brave to try a black floor, because it will show dust and lint, spotting and things like flour... Will they be wood?

I tried to make Prettykitty's counters thicker so you could see how it would look. Not a great job, and I hope she doesn't mind!

Yay... o.k., I'm seeing it. I searched for pics, but maybe i was using the wrong search words! THANKs everyone... i'm getting excited about this idea.

(and yes, the rhome, the floors will be wood... I have a swiffer at the ready :)
